Core responsibilities
Financial recordkeeping : Accurately record all financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and ensure financial records are up-to-date.
Financial statement preparation : Compile and prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, to summarize the company's financial position.
Auditing and compliance : Conduct internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial laws and regulations.
Tax management : Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure timely tax payments.
Budgeting and forecasting : Develop budgets, forecast financial trends, and manage cash flow.
Financial analysis and advice : Analyze financial data to provide recommendations on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and overall financial strategy.
Additional duties

Requirements
Work experience as an Accountant. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
