Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced
Collibra Developer
who can bridge the gap between technology and business requirements to deliver end-to-end data governance solutions. This role involves driving implementations, designing and customizing workflows, and ensuring successful delivery of client solutions on the
Collibra platform
with strong expertise in
Groovy scripting and Java development .
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Delivery & Implementation
Bridge the gap between project and support teams through
techno-functional expertise .
Drive the end-to-end implementation process – from
requirement gathering
to
integration, configuration, workflow design, and production deployment .
Design, build, and maintain
Collibra workflows
to automate governance processes and improve user experience.
Develop custom solutions using
Groovy scripting
and integrate with external systems using
Collibra APIs .
Build, customize, and enhance applications using
Java IDE tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, etc.) .
Assess feasibility of new business requirements and provide
optimal solutions with clear timelines .
Support solutioning from
architecture design, coding, testing, and implementation
phases.
Understand functional and technical design to ensure successful delivery on the
Collibra / ERP platform .
Customize, extend, modify, localize, or integrate
solutions through coding and configuration.
Implement business processes and translate them into effective
Collibra / ERP solutions .
Develop automation tools and solutions to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to align technical and functional needs.
Provide
L2 / L3 product support
and resolve day-to-day technical issues.
Work with on-site managers and provide necessary off-site support and updates.
2. Skill Development & Competency Building
Continuously upgrade skills by clearing internal certifications and attending trainings / seminars.
Stay updated with the latest in
data governance, Collibra platform, workflow automation, Groovy, and integration technologies .
Contribute to knowledge-building initiatives by writing
articles, case studies, or white papers .
Required Skills & Qualifications
8–12 years of overall IT experience, with
strong expertise in Collibra development and implementation .
Proven experience designing and deploying
Collibra Workflows
using BPMN.
Proficiency in
Groovy scripting
for custom automation and workflow customization.
Experience with
Java IDE tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, etc.)
for solution development and integration.
Strong understanding of
data governance principles, metadata management, and data lineage .
Experience in
customization, API integration, workflows, and automation
on the Collibra platform.
Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
