Job Title : AR Caller (Medical Billing) NextGen & eCW Experience

Location : Bangalore

Job Type : (Full-time)

Experience Required : 15 years in AR calling with hands-on experience in NextGen and eCW software.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR Caller to join our medical billing team. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with NextGen and eClinicalWorks (eCW) software, possess excellent communication skills, and have a solid understanding of the revenue cycle management (RCM) process.

Key Responsibilities :

Make outbound calls to insurance companies to resolve outstanding claims.
Analyze denied claims and follow up with payers for claim resolution.
Update the billing system (NextGen / eCW) with accurate and complete notes after each call.
Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), denials, and remittance advice.
Work on rejections, appeals, and reconsiderations as needed.
Maintain productivity and quality metrics as set by the team lead or manager.
Collaborate with internal teams for accurate coding, billing, and documentation issues.
Handle patient calls or inquiries related to outstanding balances if required.
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

15 years of AR calling experience in the US healthcare industry.

Proficiency in NextGen and eClinicalWorks (eCW) billing software.

Strong knowledge of the US healthcare revenue cycle, including claims submission, denials, and follow-ups.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with other practice management or EHR systems is a plus.

Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT / ICD-10 codes.

Prior experience in a BPO / KPO or medical billing company preferred.
