Job description

The Creative Head will be responsible for leading the overall creative vision, brand storytelling, and design strategy for the ecommerce business. This role involves shaping the customer experience across digital platforms, campaigns, and product categories, ensuring that all creative output enhances brand equity, drives engagement, and supports business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and drive the creative vision, tone, and brand identity for the ecommerce platform.
  • Partner with business, marketing, and product teams to align creative output with growth and conversion objectives.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary creative team (design, copywriting, visual merchandising, video, content production).
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice and visual language across all customer touchpoints. Campaigns & Content
  • Conceptualize and execute 360° marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, performance, influencer, ATL / BTL as relevant).
  • Oversee production of high-quality creatives including website assets, social content, product shoots, videos, and digital ads.
  • Collaborate with product, merchandising, and performance marketing teams to design creatives that drive sales and enhance CX.
  • Experiment with new creative formats, interactive content, and storytelling to engage customers. User Experience & Design
  • Drive UI / UX design for website and mobile app to deliver a seamless shopping experience.
  • Partner with tech / product teams to optimize visual merchandising, product displays, and navigational design.
  • Ensure creatives are data-driven, A / B tested, and optimized for conversions. Team & Stakeholder Management
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing creative team.
  • Manage relationships with external creative agencies, production houses, and freelancers.
  • Present creative concepts and strategy to leadership with strong storytelling and persuasion.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sense of aesthetics, visual storytelling, and digital-first creativity.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, UI / UX, ecommerce design, and content production.
  • Proficiency in creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, video editing software).
  • Understanding of performance marketing metrics, consumer behaviour, and digital commerce trends.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance brand-building with data-driven creative decisions.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
  • 9–17 years of experience in creative leadership, preferably in ecommerce, retail, or consumer internet companies.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful creative campaigns and digital brand experiences.
  • Experience in leading large creative teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exposure to fast-paced, high-growth digital-first environments preferred.
