Senior DAS Construction Manager
About the Job :
The Senior DAS Construction Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing fast-paced Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and / or Base Transceiver Station (BTS) projects. Key responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling assignments, managing materials logistics, crews, and tools to complete projects on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of DAS, Small Cell, RF cabling, fiber optic installations, and related infrastructure. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities :
- Reports to the Operations Manager and coordinates with remote teams at project sites.
- Requires strong knowledge of DAS, Small Cell, RF cabling, fiber optic installations, and related infrastructure.
- Experience working in various venues such as hospitals, commercial buildings, stadiums, airports, and campuses.
- Ability to coordinate, implement, and complete multiple projects simultaneously.
- Assembles and installs communication equipment, including iDAS, oDAS, BTS, repeater systems, and other technology.
- Develops problem-solving skills to ensure project progression.
- Familiarity with RF tools such as iBwave, RF Vision, PIM / Sweep testers.
- Demonstrates expertise in at least one DAS proficiency (cabling, Fiber, BTS / HE, conduit / electrical).
- Working knowledge of test equipment including PIM testing, sweep analyzers, circuits, OTDR, and signal generating sets.
- Troubleshoots malfunctions, handles trouble tickets, and maintains a safe working environment.
- Collaborates with workers to locate and correct issues.
- Conducts daily safety meetings, JSA's, tool box meetings, and ensures a safe working environment for crews.
- Presents regular performance and status reports.
- Manages materials, conducts site surveys, quality checks, and job audits.
- Provides customer support, including interfacing with customers, resolving problems, ensuring timely service, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Understands and adheres to Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
Qualifications :
10+ years' experience in DAS Construction management with in-building distributed antenna systems (IDAS)Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience required.Fundamental understanding of iDAS, oDAS, BTS, repeater systems, and other related systems.Familiarity with business concepts related to information technologies and networking.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.Good judgment and organizational skills.Knowledge of Telecommunications industry.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Current industry-related licenses and certifications preferred.Hands-on installation / construction experience required.PIM – Passive InterModulation Testing and Troubleshooting experience preferred.Fiber optic cable installation, splicing, and testing certification preferred.Coax cable connections training and mentoring experience preferred.Basic electrical code knowledge and Low Voltage / High Voltage power designs experience.Pass a drug test, background screening, and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Proficient in MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) for reporting.OSHA10 Certification Required; OSHA30 strongly preferred.
