The data engineer will join the client's Data Group, which consists of DIH, DW and EDI teams, to provide data efficiently with excellent quality for business intelligence, analytics and reporting. Additionally, the group will make data translation and delivery between internal and external systems efficient and bulletproof. Initially, the candidate will focus primarily on the EDI job function first to onboard clients as well as provide day to day support.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Design and develop complex Sterling Integrator processes that integrate and transmit EDI data from different clients and vendors.
2. Perform business analysis and develop data flow diagrams and mapping specifications
3. Interact with business users to gather data requirements
4. Interact with the technical architect for identification and design of monitoring processes
5. Provide guidance and work with the data architect in reviewing and validating the SI design.
6. Provide level 2 production support
Minimum Required Qualifications :
1. Bachelor degree in technology related field
2. 5+ years of hands on experience in Sterling Integrator for EDI processing
3. 5+ years of production support experience in addressing system outage under extreme pressure.
Required Skills :
5+ years exp in sterling b2b integrator version minimum 6.0 or above…
Relevant Manufacturing domain expertise (EDI Transactions like 850,855,860,865,856,810).
At least 5+ exp in ODBC Mapping experience and have expertise at Mapping different file formats ( Flat,CSV,EDI) and have expertise in envelopes and Codelist
At least 3 year experience in creating / editing Business Process using GPM.
At least 3 year experience in writing SQL queries
At least 3 year experience on different file transfer protocols like FTP,SFTP and AS2.
Desirable Skills :
Sterling b2b integrator Administration skills
Experience in building systems to support book publishing industry
Experience with Oracle ERP System
