Job Description :

The PL / SQL Developer will design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions tailored to meet business requirements. The role involves creating efficient PL / SQL scripts, optimizing database performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database solutions. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of relational database concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain complex PL / SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for data processing and ETL tasks.
Design and implement database schemas and objects such as tables, indexes, and views.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using PL / SQL.
Optimize SQL queries and database performance for high efficiency.
Perform data analysis to support report generation and modify existing reports as needed.
Develop migration scripts for data transfer between systems.
Ensure compliance with security standards to protect sensitive data.
Provide technical support for production systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Document technical specifications and create reusable code for scalability.

Required Skills

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Oracle PL / SQL programming with experience in developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Strong understanding of relational database concepts (RDBMS) and performance tuning techniques.

Experience with ETL processes and data warehouse integration.

Knowledge of advanced PL / SQL features like collections, ref cursors, dynamic SQL, and materialized views.

Familiarity with tools like SQL Developer, Toad, or similar IDEs.

Exposure to Unix / Linux scripting is a plus.

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members effectively.

Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in coding and testing.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience (2-4years) in Oracle PL / SQL development.

Certifications in Oracle Database technologies are a plus.
