QA Automation Lead (Founding Engineer – Test Infrastructure)

Location : Hyderabad, India (Full-time, 5 days / week in-office – no remote)

Experience : 7–12 years in QA automation (startup experience mandatory)

We’re in hyper-growth, delivering AI transformation projects for healthcare, fintech, and manufacturing clients. Our Hyderabad HQ is the nerve center , and we’re building our first-ever automation framework from scratch .

This isn’t a “maintain existing tests” role.

This is founding the QA function for a company shipping mission-critical AI solutions.

Who You Are

• 7-12 years building end-to-end automation frameworks from zero (Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Appium, REST API testing)
• Programming ninja : Java / Python / TypeScript (you write clean, maintainable, production-grade code — not just scripts)
• Startup DNA : You’ve set up CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), integrated with Jira / TestRail, and shipped frameworks used by 10+ devs
• Hands-on with modern stack :
• Web : Selenium 4 + WebDriverIO / Playwright (headless, parallel, cross-browser)
• API : RestAssured / Karate / Pact
• Mobile : Appium + real devices / BrowserStack
• AI / ML testing bonus : Validating model outputs, drift detection, data pipeline tests
• Architecture thinker : You design flaky-resistant, scalable, data-driven frameworks (Page Object, Screenplay, BDD with Cucumber)
• Hyderabad local or ready to relocate — 5 days in-office (we ship fast, pair-program, and white-board together)
• Bonus : Ex-founder, ex-early engineer at Series A / B startup, or open-source contributor in test automation
