MEP Design Engineer (Plumbing & Fire Protection)

Job Title : Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Engineer

Location : New Delhi

Experience : 4 to 15 years

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Produce concept design, Design Schematic, Design Development, and Construction Design

of plumbing and firefighting system as per the architect's layout, requirement of client and

specifications

2. Produce a tender drawing of plumbing and firefighting system (waste, soil, and rain water,

sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher system

3. Provide a calculated note, if required

4. Prepare shop drawing for submission and resubmission (Plumbing, Fire Fighting System

drawing)

5. Select and prepare some material for submission

6. Contact with the supplier to request a quotation and technical documents, if required

7. Take off BOQ of firefighting and plumbing system (sprinkler head, pipe, sanitary fixture unit- )

8. Prepared information regarding the design, structure specification, material, equipment,

estimated cost, and construction time.

9. Consult with the Consultant to determine the function and spatial requirements of MEP.

10. Coordinate closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Architect, and Structure Team

11. Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents.

Plan the layout of the project.

12. Prepared scale drawings

13. Collaborating with the supervisor in preparing the technical report and installation on site.

14. Perform other duties as assigned

15. Prepare Project Schedule, Design, and Construction.

16. Prepare Progress Report, Daily Report, Weekly Report, and Monthly Report.

17. Prepare a Material List.

18. Prepare Costing for Bidding
