About the Role
The Contract Manager will be responsible for managing the complete contract lifecycle from a legal perspective, ensuring that all agreements are legally sound, commercially viable, and compliant with applicable laws. This role requires an LLB-qualified professional who can independently draft, review, and negotiate contracts while identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks. The Contract Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and business partners to support organizational objectives through effective contract management and legal oversight.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and client agreements
- Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Identify legal and commercial risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations
- Interpret contractual terms and provide legal guidance to business teams
- Coordinate with external counsels, vendors, and clients on contractual matters
- Maintain accurate contract records and documentation
- Support dispute resolution, claims management, and contract enforcement when required
- Stay updated on changes in contract law and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Candidate must hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.Required Skills
