About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Core ABAP Developer with expertise in OOABAP, OData, RAP, Fiori, and QMATES to join our development team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on coding experience and the ability to build scalable SAP applications, integrate with Fiori / UI5, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using Core ABAP and OOABAP.
Build and expose OData services to support SAP Fiori and UI5 applications.
Collaborate with functional and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop CDS views and leverage RAP framework for modern ABAP development.
Optimize and enhance ABAP programs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Utilize QMATES or similar tools to ensure quality and development efficiency.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
Provide technical support for application development and integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Strong proficiency in SAP Core ABAP and OOABAP programming.

Hands-on experience in OData services, RAP, CDS views, and Fiori / UI5 integration.

Practical experience with SQL scripting and performance tuning.

Knowledge of QMATES or equivalent SAP development tools (preferred).

Ability to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

SAP ABAP certification or equivalent credentials (preferred).

Additional Details :
