Position Summary...

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. About Team :

International Technology : Focusing on customer, associate and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,900 retail units, operating outside the United States with 55 banners in 26 countries such as Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, Mexico and United Kingdom to name a few. Our focus is to build a continuous, seamless, omni-channel customer experience across physical stores, eCommerce, and mobile commerce, that is unique to Walmart and sets us apart from our competition. We are building grounds up platforms & products using cutting edge technology and also modernizing existing platforms & products.

This role is for Identity Engineering team within Walmart International group. The group focuses on customer profile, identity and membership related features development & support for the International business.

What you will do :

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software solutions.
Implement front-end user interfaces using React and other modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
Develop back-end components using Node.js and other server-side languages.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose effective solutions.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions remain current.

What you will bring :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

Strong knowledge of React, Node.js, and web development.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Implement best practices for software development to ensure smooth operations and high availability of applications.

Monitor the performance of applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure software compatibility and alignment with operational procedures.

Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance the overall operational efficiency of the software development process.

Participate in the creation and maintenance of system documentation, user manuals, and operational procedures.

Drive continuous improvement in software engineering practices within the team.

Collaborate with peers to identify, promote, and implement best practices in code quality, testability, and performance.

Encourage and facilitate knowledge sharing and learning amongst the team.

Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable software is being developed.

Lead initiatives to research and adopt new technologies to stay ahead of the curve in the software engineering field.

Foster a culture of engineering excellence, adopting innovation and advocating for a high standard of code quality.

Uphold and promote the company&aposs engineering standards and best practices.
