Daply is hiring a sharp PHP Developer to build reliable backend services and APIs that power our products. You will ship secure, scalable features that our frontend and data teams rely on every day.

What you will do

Design and build RESTful APIs and backend services

Implement secure authentication, authorization, and rate controls

Model data and write efficient queries for transactional workloads

Improve reliability with tests, observability, and performance tuning

Collaborate with product and frontend to deliver features end to end

Must haves

Expert PHP with Laravel or Symfony

Strong MySQL or PostgreSQL and practical Redis for caching and queues

Experience with API design, testing, and documentation

Solid understanding of application security and performance best practices

Docker, CI, and a major cloud such as AWS or GCP

Clean, tested, production grade code

Nice to have

Message queues such as SQS or RabbitMQ

Background job processing and scheduling

ElasticSearch or OpenSearch for search heavy features
