Job Title : SAP WM Consultant

Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP WM (Warehouse Management) Consultant to join our growing team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have deep functional expertise in SAP WM modules, solid experience in warehouse operations within the manufacturing sector, and proven ability to deliver end-to-end implementations as well as ongoing support. The role demands excellent analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust SAP WM solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Implementation & Support :
- Lead and deliver SAP WM implementations across full lifecycle projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP WM-related issues and enhancements in existing systems.
Configuration & Customization :
Configure SAP WM modules including storage types, sections, putaway and picking strategies, bins, transfer orders, and stock placements.Customize WM processes to meet specific client warehouse operations and logistics needs.Integration Expertise :
Work on seamless integration of WM with other SAP modules such as :MM (Materials Management) : Procurement, inventory management.SD (Sales & Distribution) : Shipping and delivery.PP (Production Planning) : Production supply and staging.QM (Quality Management) : Quality inspection and stock transfer.Technology & Process Enablement :
Implement and optimize RF framework and barcode scanning processes to improve warehouse efficiency.Support the transition and readiness to SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), withexposure to S / 4HANA environments.
Business Engagement & Leadership :
Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and document functional specifications.Partner with business and IT teams to design warehouse solutions that enhance productivityand compliance.
Train end-users and create knowledge transfer documentation.Act as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements.Testing & Quality :
Develop test scenarios, execute unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT phases.Ensure all solutions comply with quality standards and align with business requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications :
8 - 10 years of hands-on SAP WM experience, including at least 23 full lifecycle implementations within the manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of warehouse management processes (inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, replenishment, and physical inventory).Deep expertise in SAP WM configuration and process optimization.Experience in RF framework, barcode scanning, and automation in warehouse processes.Exposure to SAP EWM concepts and ability to work on migration or hybrid projects inS / 4HANA.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to conduct client workshops, manage senior stakeholders, and drive solution adoption.Experience in leading small teams and providing guidance to junior consultants.Good to Have :
Knowledge of transportation management (SAP TM) integration with WM / EWM.Experience in GxP or regulated industries (e.g., Pharma, FMCG).Familiarity with third-party warehouse automation systems.SAP certification in WM / EWM.Why Join Us?
