Role overview
The Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Lead Consultant will support Client new joint venture by enhancing the on‑premise Oracle EPM / Hyperion Financial Management and Reporting landscape to consolidate Client entities and deliver statutory and management reporting. The role is techno‑functional, requiring strong HFM expertise, divestiture experience, and the ability to guide a team on what needs to be done rather than only executing assigned tasks
Required qualifications
- 1–2+ years hands‑on experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), including rules, metadata, and reporting
- Proven experience in company divestitures or similar restructuring projects (entity splits, carve‑outs, and related data manipulation).
- Strong techno‑functional skill set : understanding of consolidation / accounting concepts plus ability to configure HFM, FDMEE, and reporting components.
- Experience with data loading, mapping, business rules, and validation in HFM / FDMEE.
- Ability to independently determine required tasks, provide guidance to team members, and influence stakeholders without formal people‑management responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with finance and IT teams in remote, distributed environments.

Experience with other Oracle EPM components (e.g., Planning, FCCS, EPM Cloud) in addition to on‑prem HFMPrior experience in large multinational environments or CPG / manufacturing industriesRelevant certifications in Oracle Hyperion / Oracle EPM or professional accounting qualificationsKey responsibilities
Lead design, configuration, and enhancement of HFM applications for JV legal entity consolidation and reporting in an on‑premise environmentCreate and modify HFM rules, metadata, web forms, and Financial Reporting (FR) reports to support divestitures, entity splits, and complex business logicManage data loading and integration (FDMEE / other interfaces), including building and updating FDMEE scripts and mappings to support divestiture-related data movements.Perform techno‑functional validation of HFM applications, business rules, metadata, and data flows across environments.Support SIT and UAT cycles by preparing test scenarios, assisting users, and resolving HFM / FDMEE issues.Provide go‑live and hypercare support for Production HFM applications, ensuring stability, performance, and data integrity.Review and refine the Disaster Recovery (DR) approach for HFM, and participate in DR testing for the new platform.Prepare and maintain project documentation including architecture diagrams, installation / configuration guides, migration runbooks, and validation documents
