What This Role Really Is

You're not here to 'manage servers.'

You're here to own uptime, scalability, and reliability — end to end.

When something crashes → you fix it.

When something slows down → you optimize it.

When something doesn't exist → you build it.

No hand-holding. No silos. Just ownership.

What You'll Own (Core Responsibilities)

Infrastructure & Cloud

• Architect and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, Load Balancers, Route53, CloudFront, etc.)
• Design systems that scale under pressure and don't fail silently
  
  

Containerization & Orchestration

• Run and optimize Docker + Kubernetes workloads
• Ensure deployments are repeatable, reliable, and fast
  
  

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Automate everything that shouldn't be manual
• Ship faster without breaking things
  
  

Monitoring, Logging & Reliability

• Set up deep observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch)
• Track everything that matters — ignore everything that doesn't
• Own uptime, latency, and system health
  
  

Databases & Systems

• Work with Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ
• Ensure high availability, backups, and performance tuning
  
  

Infrastructure as Code

• Use Terraform to build reproducible, scalable infra
• No manual setups. Ever.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 3–7 years in DevOps / SRE / Infra roles
• Strong hands-on with AWS ecosystem
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Solid scripting skills (Shell / Python)
• You think in systems, not tasks
  
  

Good to Have (But We'll Know If You're Faking It)

• AWS Lambda, CloudFormation
• Nginx, Apache, Tomcat
• Jira or similar tools
• Understanding of system design patterns
