Desktop App Developer (Electron – Cross-Platform)

About the Role

ZZAZZ should feel like a first-class desktop platform for publishers and internal teams

— powering data-heavy dashboards, trading-style views, rich graphs, wallets, and user

settings. You’ll own and lead the development of our Electron-based desktop app,

building on our existing React + TypeScript + Tailwind stack to deliver a fast, reliable,

and polished experience.

What you’ll do

• Build a cross-platform desktop app (macOS, Windows, Linux) using Electron + React + TypeScript.
• Re-use and adapt our existing web components / design system for desktop workflows.
• Implement Electron main / renderer processes, IPC bridges, and secure communication.
• Integrate OS-level features : tray / menu bar, notifications, deep links / protocol handlers, auto-update.
• Implement secure local storage for sessions and cached analytics with a security- first mindset.
• Set up build & release pipelines (Electron Builder / code signing) for frictionless distribution.
• Work with backend teams on APIs optimized for desktop usage and long-lived sessions.
