WE ARE HIRING : Senior Database Administrator / Data EngineerLocation : Ahmedabad, IndiaSalary Range : Base salary + Special allowanceWorking Days : Monday to FridayWorking Time : 8.00 am - 5.00 pmWorking Mode : Hybrid (3 days in-office, and 2 days WFH)Reports to : Data Architecture ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesDatabase Architecture & ManagementDesign and manage Microsoft SQL Server & Azure SQL environments.Optimize performance, storage, HA / DR, backups, and query efficiency.Apply best practices in indexing, partitioning, and data modeling.Data Engineering & IntegrationBuild scalable ETL / ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust data integration solutions.Ensure efficient data flow into Azure Synapse & Microsoft Fabric.️Cloud Data Services & AutomationManage Azure SQL, Synapse, Cosmos DB, Microsoft Fabric & Blob Storage.Automate infrastructure using Terraform & IaC best practices.Monitor, patch, and deploy data services in cloud environments.Security & GovernanceEnforce encryption, access controls, and data compliance policies.Maintain thorough documentation for all data assets and processes.Leadership & CollaborationMentor junior engineers and promote best practices.Partner with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business needs.What Youll Bring- 6+ years in DBA / Data Engineering with enterprise-scale systems.- Advanced expertise in SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.- Proven experience with ETL / ELT, Azure Data Services, and Terraform.- Strong skills in T-SQL, PowerShell, and Python.- Certifications in data / cloud platforms (highly desirable).- Excellent collaboration & communication skills.Ready to take your career to new heights?We're InTalent Asia, your go-to recruitment partner in Sri Lanka, and we've got an exciting opportunity for you!
