Job descriptionJoin our perception team to industrialize sophisticated low-level perception algorithms for our next generation of advanced driver assistance systems. At the BMW TechWorks India, we are continuously developing cutting-edge functions for our self-driving car technology. You use your expertise to participate actively in all development phases from prototyping, preparing the training data up to the implementation, testing and deployment of deep learning models. In your daily work, you will find yourself in an international and interdisciplinary environment with an agile mindset. What should you bring along
- Solid foundation in computer vision, advanced machine learning, and deep learning principles
- Proficient experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or ONNX
- Practical application skills in creating image classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, monocular depth estimation, multi-task, and multi-modal neural networks
- Experience in testing ML models and CI / CD-based development pipeline
- Strong programming skills in Python with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Excellent communication skills in English and analytical and logical thinking ability
- Familiarity with developing applications using AWS
- Programming experience in C++ and OpenCL
- Experience in 3D reconstruction and 3D scene understanding (using Neural Radiance fields, Gaussian Splatting) or related fields
- Experience in data processing and algorithm development on sensor data from cameras, RADAR, and LiDAR, and knowledge in sensor fusion technology
- Proficiency in developing custom operations with CUDA
