We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for a US-based enterprise software product company that builds cutting-edge AI-driven data connectivity and integration platforms . Their products help global enterprises connect, unify, and access data across cloud, SaaS, and on-prem systems in real time . Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer , you will design and develop Java-based frameworks, data connectors, and SQL-driven integration layers . You’ll collaborate with global teams to build scalable backend services and mentor junior developers in best practices for performance, data consistency, and cloud-native design.

What You’ll Do

Develop and optimize backend components using Core Java, Spring Boot, and SQL .

Work on database connectivity , schema design, and query optimization.

Collaborate with architects on data connector and integration frameworks .

Ensure scalability, performance, and security in all deliverables.

Contribute to technical design, reviews, and mentoring of junior developers.

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of experience in Java-based backend engineering .

Deep expertise in SQL / RDBMS internals , query tuning, and database design.

Hands-on with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and multithreaded applications .

Familiarity with cloud (AWS / Azure) , CI / CD , Docker / Kubernetes preferred.

Prior product development or data integration experience is a plus.

Strong ownership, clean-code habits, and mentoring mindset.

Location Bangalore, India (Hybrid) — 3 days office, 2 days remote.

Compensation ₹ 35–45 LPA
