Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead the Integration Team within our SSD Firmware Development group. This role is pivotal in driving the quality and efficiency of firmware releases through robust integration practices, continuous improvement of CI / CD pipelines, and effective regression testing strategies.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical acumen with proven leadership skills to manage a high-performing team and collaborate across cross-functional groups.
Key Responsibilities :
Firmware Integration & Release Management :
- Own and drive the end-to-end SSD firmware release process, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries.
 - Coordinate with development, validation, and product teams to align release schedules and content.
 - Manage release documentation, version control, and compliance with internal and external standards
 - Architect and maintain scalable CI / CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
 - Continuously improve integration efficiency and reduce release cycle time through automation and tooling.
 - Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure reliability and scalability of build systems.
 
Firmware Regression & Quality Assurance :
Define and oversee regression testing strategies for firmware releases.Monitor test coverage, failure trends, and quality metrics to ensure robust firmware performance.Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for integration-related issues.Team & People Management :
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of integration engineers and automation specialists.Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance reviews, career development planning, and hiring activities.Cross-functional Collaboration :
Act as a key liaison between development, validation, systems, and product teams.Represent the integration team in program reviews, quality audits, and customer engagements.Qualifications
BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Computer Science or Software / Computer / Electrical Engineering, Electronics8+ years of experience in firmware development / integration, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleStrong understanding of SSD architecture, firmware lifecycle, and embedded systemsKnowledge on SSD FW architecture and concepts is added advantageHands-on experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), scripting (Python, Bash), and version control (Git)Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAdditional Information
