Charles Technologies is a dynamic startup based in Chennai, focused on building innovative mobile and web applications that elevate user experiences. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Automation Test Engineer to join our growing team and ensure the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge digital products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
  • Build and enhance test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI / CD pipelines.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms.
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work closely with product owners and developers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve automation strategies, tools, and processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, etc.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
