About the Role
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP / AR, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper billing, invoicing, and follow-ups with clients—preferably with experience in advertising release orders, media invoices, agency commissions, etc.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support management decision-making.
- Monitor revenue recognition and expense booking in line with agency workflows.
- Oversee GST, TDS, PF / ESI, and other statutory filings and ensure timely compliance.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors;
support audits with required documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.Manage cash flow, working capital, and bank relations.Monitor payments and receivables;ensure timely settlements and collections.
Understanding of media release orders, vendor payments, and agency commission structures.Reconciliation with publishers, broadcasters, and media suppliers.Knowledge of media buying / selling workflow and advertising billing cycles.Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.Professional certifications (CA Inter, MBA Finance, CMA) are an added advantage.3–7 years of accounts & finance experience, with at least 1–2 years in the advertising / media industry.Strong understanding of accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, SAP, or equivalent).Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.Required Skills
