Job Description : Senior Manager - Finance and Accounts / CFO

Position Summary

We are looking for an accomplished and proactive Senior Manager for Finance and Accounts to oversee and manage all aspects of our financial operations. This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, driving strategic financial planning, and leading the company through its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire accounting function, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Liaise with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process.
  • Oversee all direct & indirect tax compliances, including filings, refunds, and assessments.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective credit management policies to optimize debtor days and minimize bad debts.
  • Prepare detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Lead the finance workstream for the IPO preparation, including due diligence, drafting of the prospectus, and liaising with investment bankers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualification :  Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of experience / MBA (Finance) with 8+ years of Experience.
  • Technical and Personal Attributes :
  • In-depth, hands-on experience in End-to-end Accounting and Financial Reporting, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Credit and Cash Flow Management, Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
  • Proven involvement in Private Equity deals and the end-to-end IPO process.
  • Must be an expert in Advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables etc.).
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in building and mentoring a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, ethical standards, and professional intellectuality.
