Job descriptionAt Brick & Bolt, we’re on a mission to revolutionize how people build homes. From design to delivery, we bring transparency, reliability, and tech-driven efficiency to the construction space. We’re now looking for a Content Writer with a civil engineering background to help us tell this story in a way that’s simple, engaging, and relatable. Create blogs, guides, and web content that simplify construction concepts for homeowners and clients. Work closely with our marketing, product, and design teams to craft engaging campaigns and educational content. Break down technical civil engineering topics into easy-to-understand formats for a non-technical audience. Write scripts for videos, social media content, and customer education material. Keep our tone fresh, approachable, and in line with our brand voice. Background in civil engineering (degree / diploma) with a knack for writing. 1–3 years of experience in content writing, technical writing, or similar roles. Ability to translate technical jargon into simple, compelling stories. Strong research skills and attention to detail. A curious mind that enjoys learning and explaining construction / engineering concepts. Be part of a fast-growing start-up reshaping the construction industry. Brick & Bolt is a managed marketplace providing construction services. We are category creators and front-runners in space. We are solving one of the most complex business problems and creating an ecosystem of trust for the Stakeholders - Customers, Construction professionals, and Material vendors. Construction has been a highly unorganized and severely tech-deficit industry globally. We are just not trying to organize but disrupt the industry completely using technology and process - creating the playbook for the industry.
- Indian real estate is earmarked to be a $650 billion market in 2025 and a $1 trillion worth sector in 2030. With 85%+ construction still unorganized in India, Brick&Bolt is on a path to capture the massive and super-broken market using our technology and processes.
- Expanding to more than 12 cities in 15 months. With the Series A2 round, Brick&Bolt has raised a total of $16 million. Earlier Sequoia Surge, Fundamental, HDFC Capital Advisors Limited and Stride Ventures have invested in Brick&Bolt. In Jan 2023, we raised Series A2 Funding of $10million from Accel and Celesta Capital.
