Job Title : Vitess / PlanetScale Engineer

Location : PAN India

Employment Type : C2H

Experience Range : 5–12 years (with 2 to 3+ years in Vitess & PlanetScale)

Budge : As per the Experience Range

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with Vitess (deployment, configuration, performance tuning).
• Experience working directly with PlanetScale (as a user, contributor, or ex-employee).
• Strong background in MySQL database internals , replication, and schema design.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes , Helm , and container orchestration for database environments.
• Familiarity with Go, Python, or Bash scripting for automation and tooling.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts , consistency, fault tolerance, scaling.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
