You’ll be the technical backbone of TrainTrack — responsible for designing, building, and deploying the first complete version of the product.
You’ll own architecture decisions, write production-ready code, integrate wearable data, and collaborate directly with the founding team and AI engineer to make the algorithm work in the real world.
This is a builder’s role — ideal for someone who loves working across the stack, thrives in early-stage environments, and wants to shape a product that can redefine fitness intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Development
- Design and build the core platform architecture across frontend, backend, and cloud.
- Develop two mobile apps (physiotherapist + user) using a shared codebase (React Native / Flutter).
- Build the backend (Node.js / Python) with secure authentication, role management, and data APIs.
- Set up databases for storing assessments, workouts, and wearable data.
- Implement integrations with third party APIs
- Deploy the AI engine (score generation, workout recommendation, predictions) via APIs.
2. Technical Leadership
Work closely with data and AI engineers to define APIs and model deployment.Translate product and sports science inputs into scalable technical systems.Manage DevOps : cloud setup, CI / CD pipelines, code versioning, and server monitoring.Eventually recruit, mentor, and manage junior engineers and mobile devs.3. Product Execution
Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on product features with physiotherapists and users.Ensure clean, modular, and maintainable code for long-term scalability.Maintain high standards of security, privacy, and performance for health data.Ideal Background & Skills
Technical Stack :
Frontend : React Native or FlutterBackend : Node.js or Python (FastAPI / Django)Database : PostgreSQL / MongoDB / FirebaseAI Integration : REST / GraphQL APIs, FastAPI model servingCloud : AWS or GCP (Lambda, EC2, S3, Cloud Functions)Version Control & CI / CD : GitHub, Docker, Jenkins / GitHub ActionsNice-to-Have :
Familiarity with wearable data APIs (Apple HealthKit, Google Fit, Garmin Connect, Strava).Experience working with AI / ML engineers and model deployment.Knowledge of data visualization (D3.js, Recharts, or equivalent).Awareness of health data privacy standards (GDPR, HIPAA).Soft Skills :
You’re a builder at heart — capable of independently delivering across the stack.Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration (design, AI, product, physio).Curious about fitness, biomechanics, and human performance .Excited by early-stage ownership and shaping something from the ground up.What You’ll Get
Opportunity to build a product from 0 → 1 that merges health, AI, and human performance.Work closely with a passionate founding team shaping the future of intelligent fitness.Freedom to choose tools, architecture, and early team direction.Competitive compensation and early-stage equity options .
