We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Sales Analyst to join our sales and business intelligence team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making and improve sales performance.
You will work closely with sales leadership, marketing, and finance teams to support forecasting, pipeline management, and performance measurement, helping the organization meet and exceed its revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze complex sales data and generate detailed reports to track sales performance, revenue, and market trends.
Develop sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards to assist sales leadership in strategic planning.
Identify growth opportunities, customer buying patterns, and potential risks through data analysis.
Collaborate with sales managers to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and campaigns.
Support territory and quota planning by providing data-driven recommendations.
Build and maintain automated tools and dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
Work with CRM data (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Provide insights for pricing, discounting, and promotional strategies based on market analysis.
Mentor junior analysts and lead data-driven projects to improve sales processes and reporting quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
4+ years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables), and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Experience working with CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
