Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Django Developer with at least 3 years of experience to strengthen our backend engineering team. While your core focus will be constructing robust, scalable Python-based backends, we value engineers who can look beyond the server-side code.

The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats : you should be proficient in containerization (Docker) to smooth out deployment pipelines and possess enough frontend savvy (Vue.js or React) to seamlessly integrate your APIs or tackle full-stack tickets when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development : Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code using Python and Django / Django REST Framework (DRF) .
• API Design : Architect RESTful APIs that serve as the backbone for our web and mobile applications, ensuring security and efficiency.
• Database Management : Design and optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL / MySQL) to support complex data models and high transaction volumes.
• DevOps & Deployment : Utilize Docker for containerization and assist in maintaining CI / CD pipelines to ensure smooth production deployments.
• Full-Stack Collaboration : Collaborate with frontend teams using Vue.js or React to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Code Quality : Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to PEP8 standards and best practices.
• System Architecture : Contribute to architectural decisions regarding server infrastructure, caching mechanisms (Redis), and asynchronous task queues (Celery).
