Job description

Onni Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD / Revit Technician to support our design and construction documentation initiatives. This is an execution-focused role requiring hands-on expertise in Revit and AutoCAD to deliver precise 2D drawings, accurate 3D models, and professional rendering outputs.

As a CAD / Revit Technician, you will play a critical role in transforming design inputs into construction-ready documentation and models, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and efficiency in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Documentation

  • Produce 2D elevations, RCPs (Reflected Ceiling Plans), and drawing packages in CAD and Revit.
  • Prepare construction-ready documentation with precision and attention to detail.

3D Modeling & Rendering

  • Develop accurate 3D models in Revit based on provided 2D drawings.
  • Render 2D inputs into presentation-quality outputs for project stakeholders.

    • Technical Support

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure drawings and models meet project specifications.
  • Maintain consistency in drafting standards and file management.

    • Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Revit (Critical) – Strong expertise in 3D modeling and drafting.
  • AutoCAD (Supporting) – Proficiency in producing and editing 2D drawings.
  • Solid drafting knowledge to create accurate, professional, construction-ready documentation.

    • What This Role Is Not

  • Not a conceptual design or creative architecture role.
  • Not MEP-focused — stakeholder requires civil / architecture-side drafting expertise.
  • This is an execution-focused role emphasizing precision, technical accuracy, and hands-on drafting / modeling.

    • Qualifications

  • Proven experience 3+ years of experience as a CAD / Revit Technician or Drafter in architecture, engineering, or construction.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating Revit-based 3D modeling and CAD drafting.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
