The Software Engineer (AE-PS) will be part of the organization's professional services team in India which performs implementation services, business consulting, IT services and managed services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Posit and SAS Administration apart.

Job Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis - Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to define detailed system requirements and specifications for hosting Posit and SAS platforms.
Technical Design & Documentation - Develop comprehensive technical design documents detailing architecture, deployment models, network / security configurations, and integration strategies.
Installation & Configuration - Lead installation and configuration of SAS Analytics Server on Windows and Posit modules on Linux within AWS.
Execute system qualification activities including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification(OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ).
Manage provisioning and configuration of AWS cloud resources (EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, Security Groups).
Monitor post-deployment performance and address any issues during stabilization.
Deployment & Go-Live Support - Manage deployment and cutover activities to production environments.
Drive knowledge sharing, SOP creation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications And Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2 to 3 years of progressive IT experience

Proven experience managing and implementing either Posit (Workbench, Connect and Package Manager) and / or SAS environments.

Understanding of AWS Cloud concepts

Understanding of PM tools (JIRA – Confluence and JSM, Microsoft Projects)
