We are seeking a Senior Manager R with Statistical Programming Expertise
This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to lead end-to-end clinical reporting projects using R, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Lead end-to-end clinical reporting projects using R, overseeing the entire lifecycle from data analysis to final report submission.
- Guide in Package development, Shiny app development at enterprise grade, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
- Design and manage Shiny dashboards, internal tools, and reusable functions / packages, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
- Oversee SAS-to-R migration, translating legacy code with accurate validation and optimization.
- Define and maintain standardized R programming frameworks, promoting best practices and efficiency.
- Automate and optimize existing processes and applications, reducing manual effort and enhancing productivity.
- Ensure quality control, test coverage, and adherence to project specifications, guaranteeing high-quality deliverables.
- Guide Agile execution, client communications, and technical direction, fostering collaboration and transparency.
- Support model lifecycle activities including deployment, version control, and monitoring, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation across deliverables, meeting industry standards and regulations.
- Mentor, guide, and drive team members for growth and development, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Customer & Delivery Management : Communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and other departments, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Support & Supervise Programming team towards resolving study / program related issues, providing guidance and expertise.
- Communicate with project team / stakeholders / other departments and / or groups effectively, building strong relationships and trust.
- Act as the customer key contact and responsible for project deliverables, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Mentor and evaluate team members to establish training and coaching needs, promoting career growth and development.
- Produce accurate project status and progress reports as necessary, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Publish metrics as agreed with the client, providing insights and value-added information.
- Ensure 100% compliance on customer trainings for all team members, upholding industry standards and best practices.
- Support and lead efforts to implement new concepts, process improvement, and technological advances for delivering outputs, staying ahead of the curve.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Strong leadership, mentorship, and client communication abilities.Effective in project management, task prioritization, and leading Agile teams (e.g., Jira, sprints, retrospectives).Works collaboratively across functions including statisticians, data managers, and developers.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Being open to new learnings and sharing with team members.Excellent communication skills (Written, Verbal, Interpersonal and organizational skills).Proficient in using SAS EG / Studio for programming.Familiar with Unix environment and programming.Familiarity with multiple statistical procedures and functions to create TFLs.Ability to Lead and Mentor a team of junior programmers.
