JOB LOCATION - GURGAON AND CHENNAI

What will you drive?

  • Strategic Leadership : Lead and execute business strategies to scale operations, improve efficiencies, and drive growth. Work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities and challenges, delivering data-driven solutions that align with CARS24’s vision.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure smooth execution of business strategies and operational improvements. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence : Oversee day-to-day business functions, ensuring all teams meet performance and revenue targets. Optimize processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement best practices across business units.
  • Team Leadership & Development : Build and mentor high-performing teams. Lead by example, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Develop the skills of your team members through training, feedback, and development plans. Customer-Centric Mindset : Ensure all initiatives are driven by a deep understanding of customer needs and feedback. Strive to enhance the customer journey, identifying pain points and driving improvement initiatives that make a tangible impact on customer satisfaction.
  • P &L Management : Take ownership of the business unit’s P&L, ensuring cost-effective operations while driving revenue growth. Monitor financial performance, adjust forecasts, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence : Stay on top of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities. Provide insights to the leadership team to drive CARS24’s strategic direction and maintain a competitive edge.

Who are we looking for?

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced business qualification is a plus.
  • Experience : 8+ years of experience in business leadership, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role, preferably in a fast-paced tech-driven environment.
  • Proven Track Record : Demonstrated ability to successfully lead cross-functional teams, deliver measurable results, and drive business growth in a complex environment.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making : Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. Comfortable using data to inform decisions and strategies.
  • Leadership & Team Development : Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Industry Knowledge : Experience in the automotive, e-commerce, or tech industry is a plus, but not mandatory. A keen understanding of digital transformation and consumer behavior is essential. Problem-Solving & Innovation : Ability to tackle challenges head-on with creative, out-of-the-box thinking. A focus on continuous improvement and driving operational efficiencies.
