Halder Venture Limited is a leading rice and edible oil manufacturing company with a legacy dating back to 1924. Headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, the company has a global presence across Europe, Asia, and Africa, supported by four manufacturing units located across West Bengal.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Kolkata, West Bengal. The person will be responsible for the following :

  • Lead the launch of the rice consumer brand in modern trade, e-commerce and quick commerce channels.
  • Manage sales of these rice varieties through these channels.
  • Develop policies to enhance the sales of these rice varieties.
  • Maintain liaison with modern trade, e-commerce and quick commerce channels.
  • Support the branding / marketing team with necessary initiatives.
  • Be responsible for the P&L of rice sales through the three channels.

Qualifications / Essential Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
  • Strong acumen for brand development in the food FMCG space.
  • Must have experience handling food FMCG brands in the modern trade and e-commerce space.
  • Bachelor&aposs in business administration or any related field.
  • MBA will be preferred.
  • Having experience working on a rice brand will be a plus.
