Job descriptionPerform various welding tasks with precision and adherence to safety standards. Interpret technical blueprints and execute welding projects as per provided specifications. Operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Collaborate with the fabrication team to enhance the quality of metal constructions. Inspect welded joints to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety norms. Utilize welding robotics for efficient production processes and project accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering strictly to safety regulations. Continuously seek opportunities to improve welding techniques and productivity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques to perform industrial-grade welding operations.
- Experience with TIG welding to join metals such as aluminum and stainless steel with precision.
- Ability to conduct stick welding, ensuring strong, durable welds on construction materials.
- Knowledge of plasma cutting to accurately cut metals with efficiency and precision.
- Capable of interpreting and reading blueprints to execute welding tasks as per specifications.
- Thorough understanding of welding safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes to shape metal components correctly.
- Experience with welding robotics to assist in automated welding projects for efficiency.
