Purpose of the Role : Enabling the travel experience in Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) to be efficient, vibrant & sustainable, while coming together as a catalytic network of services and support for the people of TSF in pursuance of a shared vision.
Key Deliverables
1. Travel Efficiency (Travel) - Plan and execute travel (air, rail, road) bookings in a timely manner, minimizing disruptions and optimizing convenience for employees.
2. Travel Efficiency (Accommodation) - Coordinating with ARC hotels, transport vendors, ticketing agents and Tata Steel Guest Houses in respective locations to ensure booking confirmations. This will include all Unit locations and rest of India.
3. Travel Efficiency - Monitoring of Office vehicles – monitor vehicle usage across Unit locations in coordination with Unit SPOCs.
4. Employee Support - Act as a point of contact for employees during travel and resolve any booking or travel-related issues promptly along with the vendors.
5. Tracking of Bills - Tracking the bills as it passes through approvals and Release Order in Supply Chain. Carrying out the required Service Entry in SAP and get the same delivered to Finance & Accounts Team after Service Entry Release of the concerned authority.
6. Compliance & Accuracy - Verify travel bills, receipts and supporting documents to ensure compliance with organizational norms before forwarding for bill processing.
7. Travel Portal Upgrade - Coordination with business partners for portal updating process
8. Reporting & Analytics - Maintain a clear record of all bookings and expenses for audit, reference and reporting purposes.
9. Reporting & Analytics - Generate timely MIS and reports highlighting travel expenditures, usage trends and cost-saving opportunities for management review.
10. Cost Control - Talk with vendors, compare travel options and enforce travel policies to reduce travel costs without compromising quality or safety.
Work experience in years : 0-4 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to
experience in travel management.
Minimum Qualification : Any Graduate. Preference will be given to post-graduates in travel and tourism management or related courses.
