Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a proven track record in driving business growth within the Automotive sector (OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, EV, SDV solutions) . The ideal candidate will leverage strong industry networks, proactive outreach, and consultative selling skills to generate leads, build client relationships, and secure new business opportunities for Quest Global and PeopleTech Group .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Outreach :
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within Tier-1 OEMs and leading automotive brands.
- Drive business through cold calling, targeted email campaigns, industry networking, and digital marketing tools.
- Client Relationship & Solution Positioning :
- Leverage a strong automotive network to develop trusted relationships with clients across India and international markets.
- Understand client pain points and pitch tailored technical propositions aligned to engineering and digital transformation needs.
- Sales & Revenue Targets :
- Own and deliver against defined annual revenue and order booking targets (e.g., USD $2M–$3M+ depending on market focus).
- Build a qualified pipeline that supports quarter-on-quarter growth and predictable bookings.
- Work alongside Presales, Bid Management and Delivery to submit qualified proposals
- Market Development & Positioning :
- Position Quest Global and PeopleTech’s Automotive Engineering Services (HMI, SDV, Embedded Engineering, Validation, Cloud & AI) as trusted partners for OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility.
Qualifications & Experience
7–12 years of business development or sales experience in the automotive industry with a focus on OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.Proven track record of order booking and revenue achievement in engineering services or IT solutions.Strong network with automotive decision-makers in India and global markets.Ability to translate technical solutions into business value propositions.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business; MBA preferred.
