Job Title : Senior Core SME (Java & Cloud Modernization)

Location : Mumbai / Bangalore / Pune

Employment Type : Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Core SME with strong expertise in Java and cloud-native modernization (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP). This role is ideal for professionals with a deep understanding of capital markets domain , who can drive modernization blueprints, validate uplift plans, and ensure alignment with enterprise CI / CD frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cloud-native modernization initiatives and Java-based architecture transformations.
  • Drive blueprint adoption and validate uplift plans for modernization projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, governance teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
  • Mentor and guide development teams to ensure alignment with modernization strategies.
  • Oversee CI / CD framework alignment and integration with enterprise pipelines.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions in capital markets domain.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and cloud-native modernization.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS mandatory; Azure, GCP, or OCI a plus).
  • Strong understanding of CI / CD frameworks and DevOps best practices.
  • Proven experience in capital markets or financial services domain.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business goals and enterprise architecture standards.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture, containers (Docker / Kubernetes), and event-driven design.
  • Familiarity with cloud automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
