Job description

Are you passionate about on-site delivery and have experience overseeing both architectural and interior projects?

We’re looking for a Junior Site Engineer in Chennai who can manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate technical execution, and ensure design intent is realized across architecture + interior projects in a dynamic, design-driven firm.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise site execution of architecture and interior projects : monitoring progress, ensuring quality, and maintaining adherence to drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with architects / designers, structural / MEP consultants, contractors and vendors to resolve technical and coordination issues on site.
Interpret design drawings & specifications, issue site instructions, manage site changes and ensure they reflect design intent.
Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards, site protocols, material quality and workmanship.
Maintain site documentation : daily logs, progress reports, site measurement sheets, and hand-over checklists.
Assist in material / shop drawing review, site measurement verification, and vendor / subcontractor coordination.
Conduct regular site inspections, report deviations and recommend corrective actions in consultation with the project team.

Desired Skills & Profile

Bachelor’s / Diploma in Architecture / Interior / Civil preferred

1-3 years of experience in site engineering or site supervision roles, with exposure to both architectural and interior projects.

Strong technical understanding of construction processes, detailing, MEP / structural coordination and interior works.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, interior layouts, shop drawings and construction documentation.

Effective communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams and on-site contractors.

Excellent organizational skills, proactive problem-solver and hands-on site presence.

Familiarity with site safety protocols, vendor / subcontractor management and quality control procedures

Work Schedule

Location : T-Nagar, Chennai

Working days : Monday - Saturday (10 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM)
