Job description

Job Summary :

Client is looking for Data Scientist and this is remote position from India.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and translate them into actionable data science projects.
  • Perform data exploration, cleaning, feature engineering, and model selection for optimal performance, leveraging the capabilities of Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing.
  • Support production deployed ML models and AI applications
  • Translate natural language queries into SQL statements for data retrieval.
  • Extract and categorize entities from text data.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and tune model performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on models for optimal results.
  • Document work effectively, including model development process, technical decisions, and results.
  • Strictly adhere to Catalent’s Responsible AI Framework and practices
  • Stay up to date on the latest advancements in machine learning, generative AI, and related technologies.

Experience :

Focus : Time series forecasting models and tree-based modeling applied to live data streams.

Requirements :

  • Strong Python programming and data engineering skills.
  • Comfortable with end-to-end software development, not just analytics.
  • Build and support forecasting models that feed C-Suite level decision-making dashboards.
  • Should handle scalable data pipelines and model deployment.
