Job descriptionGreenfield Opportunity : Design our platform architecture from first principles, making technology choices that will define our engineering culture Direct Impact : Your work directly affects every engineer's productivity and our ability to serve customers. When you improve deployment time by 50%, everyone feels it Full Ownership : Own the entire platform stack - from infrastructure to developer tools. No bureaucracy, no legacy systems, just building the right thing Shape Engineering Culture : Define how we approach security, reliability, and developer experience. Your practices become our standards Architect our cloud platform on GCP from scratch, making crucial decisions on everything from network topology to data encryption strategies Design and implement our first proper CI / CD pipeline that takes us from 30-minute deployments to sub-5 minute deployments Build our infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform, establishing patterns that will be used for years Lead our SOC2 compliance journey by building security into every layer of our infrastructure Implement customer-managed encryption and zero-trust networking as foundational principles, not afterthoughts Create automated security scanning and remediation systems that make compliance invisible to developers Build the self-service platform that lets developers provision infrastructure in minutes, not days Create golden paths that make the secure, scalable choice the default choice Design observability systems that give developers superpowers in production Architect systems that can handle 100x growth without major rewrites Build cost optimization into our DNA - making smart resource decisions early Create disaster recovery and backup systems before we need them Want to be "the DevOps person" everyone comes to, not just another engineer on the team Get excited about making architectural decisions that will matter for years Believe infrastructure should be invisible when it works and helpful when it doesn't Can balance startup speed with enterprise reliability Want to build the platform you wish you had at your last company Complete infrastructure migration to Infrastructure-as-Code Sub-5 minute deployments with automatic rollbacks 99.9% uptime with comprehensive monitoring Full SOC2 compliance with automated controls Self-service platform used by every engineer daily 50% reduction in infrastructure costs through optimization Deep expertise with GCP services and cloud architecture Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration Proficiency in Go or Python for automation Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks Track record of building platforms that scale
Following selection criteria will be followed -
- 4-7 YOE
- Atleast 3 years of experience in the DevOps / Platform Engineering Role
- Comfortable with WFO in Noida
- Can join within 15 days

SiteRecon is a B2B SaaS platform transforming property measurements for landscapers and snow removal contractors in the $176B US market. Using advanced AI on high-resolution aerial imagery, we’ve reduced measurement time from 1 week to 1 day, aiming for 1 hour with upcoming AI advancements.
Role Overview
We're looking for our founding Platform Engineer to build our infrastructure from the ground up. This isn't about maintaining existing systems - it's about architecting the foundation that will scale from thousands to millions of property measurements.
As our first dedicated Platform Engineer, you'll have the rare opportunity to make architectural decisions that will impact the company for years to come. You'll transform our current infrastructure into a world-class platform that balances the speed of a startup with the security standards of an enterprise.
You'll work directly with our CTO and engineering leadership to define our infrastructure philosophy. Every decision you make - from our CI / CD pipeline to our security architecture - will set the standard for how we build and ship software. This is a role for someone who wants to own outcomes, not just execute tasks.
