Job Description

NAVA Design & Innovation Pvt Ltd, the inventor of the world’s first automated robotic coconut sap tapping device, is an award-winning deep-tech startup recognized with the Prime Minister’s National Startup Award and the Coconut Development Board’s National Award for Best Machinery & Equipment .

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle — from lead generation through closure — while building strong relationships with farmers, FPOs, cooperatives, and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Development : Identify potential customers and build partnerships with distributors / FPOs.
  • Sales Execution : Deliver product demos, manage negotiations, and close deals.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Maintain client communication, track adoption challenges, update CRM.
  • Strategy & Reporting : Define sales targets, report performance, and forecast revenue.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in sales, ideally in agri-tech or equipment sales.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with government procurement, tenders, and subsidies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.

  • Quarterly sales revenue vs. targets.
  • Lead-to-conversion ratio.
  • Number of partnerships / FPO tie-ups established.
  • Client satisfaction & repeat orders.
