Role & Responsibilities
- Manage / Lead Due Diligence Engagements aimed at :
- Supporting private equity funds and financial institutions in strategic / key investment decision making and commercial, legal and regulatory dispute and compliance matters in India;
- Assisting in execution of investments / deals / mergers in various industries e.g. infrastructure, real estate, health care, entertainment, education, non-profit, manufacturing and logistics, power.
- Work on and lead the challenging projects related to third-party due diligence, corporate intelligence, compliance and ethics, senior management on-boarding, and conflict of interests analyses, in a rapidly growing team with multidisciplinary skill-sets.
- Display understanding of client needs, priorities and anticipate related challenges.
- Prepare client deliverables including forensic reports, and present findings to clients (independently or with Director).
- Identify and resolve issues on engagements demonstrating a broad technical and people skillset.
- Monitor team members performance against established KRAs.
- Coach team members, contribute to the knowledge sharing culture of the team and hold difficult conversations.
- Identify gaps in existing due diligence process and recommend improvements, which could be training or market tools, for upskilling.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies and standards; as well as timely collection, compilation and reporting of primary research data.
- Stay current on emerging threats, trends, best practices, industry standards, regulations, etc.
- Engage and participate in Sales and Marketing efforts with Director, including building the profile of the practice and firm in internal as well as external events.

The Third-Party Due Diligence team is a part of the Forensics provided by Netrika Consulting. It particularly investigates conducting background checks on third-parties (including vendors, suppliers or other affiliated parties) of the clients, as well integrity checks on potential investee companies and their founders for the clients, in order to understand the risk involved while getting into possible business relations with such third parties / investee companies. The information is extracted by conducting both primary and secondary research, coupled with using subscribed databases and public domain information sources.
