ExxonMobil's affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. What You Will Do
Responsible for analyzing inventory data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing effective solutions to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve service levels
- Coordinate, communicate, align
- Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with procurement, production, supply, and logistics teams to ensure alignment and implement inventory optimization strategies
- Execute and drive inventory optimization opportunites through various supply chain teams
- Inventory Analysis and Forecasting : Analyze historical sales data, demand forecasts, andinventory trends to determine optimal stocking levels and safety stock requirements.
- Process Improvement : Assess current inventory management processes for efficiency andeffectiveness, and develop strategies to optimize inventory control, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
- Data-Driven Decision Making : Utilize inventory management software and analytical tools to monitor inventory performance metrics (e.g., fill rate, inventory accuracy, carrying costs)and identify opportunities for improvement

Reporting and Insights : Prepare insights / recommendations on inventory performance against forecasts and targets to management for actionable plansChange Management : Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure sustained performance improvements across the organizationStaying Updated : Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in inventory planning and optimization to continuously improve inventory performanceSupport regional fulfillment rate objectives with optimal inventory levels through analysis & sharing learning, developing tools and metrics, driving processes and procedures and working across the regional & global supply chain organization as well as cross-functionallyDrive development of stocking strategy and work with supply chain management to reflect the global business continuity plan requirements and stewardshipParticipate in global, regional & cross functional initiatives, projects and networks as requiredWhat You Will Do-Continued
Coordinate development of planning targets for the region, monitor and report inventory levels vs targetResponsible for reviewing product movements in the network for slow moving / dying / phased out inventory reports and coordinate the process with stake holders to reduce exess inventory (e.g. supply chain management, production sites, storage locations, deployment team, sales, marketing)Drive annual SKU management and safety stock refresh projectsServe as power user / subject matter expert for Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization for supply chain teamServe as Power user for related inventory optimization systems / tools (inventory management, overstock / understock)Coordinate network planning system 'make-vs-move' functionalityDrive phase in / phase out run down and ramp up in the network for different initiativesWhat You Will Do-Continued

Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Research (or related fields such as Applied Mathematics / Statistics)Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in supply chain network post-secondary school graduationExperience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations preferred (particularly in Oil & Gas / Consumer Packaged Goods / Fast-Moving consumer goods)Experience managing / supporting large-scale network deployment / replenishment activitiesExperience with demand and / or supply planning processes for either inbound materials or finished productsExperience with extracting information from ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and utilize MS Excel to generate data insightsProficiency with both spoken and written in EnglishUnderstand Supply Chain Fundamentals and Supply & Demand PrinciplesFunction effectively in a team environment, including virtual environments is criticalStrong background in statistics and / or analyticsAbout You-Continued
