Seeking expert & experienced Aerospace Mechanical Design & System Engineer to join Aerospace Advanced & Applied Technology group to help build and deploy cutting-edge Thermal Management Systems, Air Management Systems, Life Support Systems, Electromechanical Products, High Temperature Materials, Coatings, Sensors, Predictive Health Monitoring, Digital Twins, AI / ML in Mechanical Design & Analysis, & Connected Systems that drive business value for Aerospace.
You will work closely with Chief Engineers, Global Advance Technology Partners, Product & Offering Managers to explore & identify new technology needs, mature technologies to TRL6, identify regional opportunities for cost-shared technology development, front-end discussions with customers to fully understand the requirements, and provide technical solutions to the delight of customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead development of Technology Roadmaps & Technology Insertion in collaboration with global Advance Technology partners & Tech Strategy Organization.
- Conceptualize new product and technology ideas in collaboration with global Advance Tech Partners, Product & Offering Managers, & Strategic Marketing Team for funded R&D internal & external opportunities.
- Understand & evaluate the changing technology trends, provide value through new technologies and technology differentiation for Honeywell products.
- Champion execution and mature funded technology ideas from TRL 2 to TRL6 level.
- Work with Advanced Technology Business Development team to identify and implement customer contact plans, prioritize funding opportunities, collaborate with customers and stakeholders, and manage from initial concept through proposal submission to program win.
- Mentor and coach engineering team members on technology trends & innovation.
- Front-end customer discussions on customer problem statements, technology & solution needs.
YOU MUST HAVE
ME / MTech / BE / BTech in Engineering (Mechanical / Aerospace / Mechatronics) with 12+ years of experience in aerospace mechanical system & technology development.Technology development expertise in aerospace electromechanical products, thermal management (heat exchangers), pneumatic valves, high temperature materials, sensors, coatings, mechanical design and analysis.Demonstrated competency in advanced engineering and / or research and leading advanced engineering / research technology development programs.WE VALUE
