We are hiring for Steel Industry-Port Division

Qualifications and Experience :

Engineering in any discipline; MBA
7-9 years of experience
Should have understanding of marine regulations

Location-Mumbai

Skills- Must have experience in Project-Port Planning.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute a comprehensive long-term strategic plan for the upcoming port assets, aligning it with the steel company's production targets, growth projections, and raw material procurement strategy.

Identify and evaluate future infrastructure requirements at the port such as berths, dredging, stackyard development, and specialized equipment (cranes, conveyors, etc.) based on requirements.

Plan and manage the implementation of capital projects, including budget and timeline oversight.

Hire and oversee consultants for feasibility studies, tendering etc.

Analyze port operational data (vessel turnaround time, cargo handling rates, yard utilization, etc.) to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Understand the rules and regulations of Maritime industry, support discussions with government and submit necessary documentation.

Develop business cases for all proposed projects and investments.
