Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Cache + Angular) to contribute to the development of modern web applications built on InterSystems Cache / IRIS and Angular. This is a senior-level freelance role requiring deep backend ObjectScript experience along with strong frontend development expertise.

The engineer will work closely with an Agile team to design new features, enhance system performance, and maintain high-quality code across both backend and UI layers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend solutions using InterSystems Cache / IRIS, ObjectScript, and Object Technology .
• Build and consume SOAP / REST Web Services and integrate backend logic with UI frameworks.
• Write optimized Object SQL queries and ensure data integrity and performance.
• Develop front-end components using Angular, JavaScript, jQuery , and mGateway WebLink / EWD .
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings and quarterly PI Planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality features.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and support continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues across full-stack components and ensure smooth application functioning.
• Work independently in a highly virtual environment while maintaining proactive communication.
