For our GCC, we are looking for a junior to mid-level ABAP Developer to work with SAP Functional Analysts in the Design, Development, Testing, Implementation and Support of SAP Enhancements, Forms, Reports, Interfaces and Conversions.

Typical Duties

Work closely with SAP COE Functional Analysts on new development initiatives

Support the same team with the troubleshooting, identification and fixing of SAP Production Issues

Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related areas preferred

SAP ABAP programming tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAPscript, SmartForms, BDC, LSMW, User Exits, Menu Exits, Function Exit, Screen Exit, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, RFC, BAPI, BADI and RFC’s

Knowledge of classic SAP Modules such as SD, MM and FI is essential

Good English communication skills is very important

Maintain good, general principles and discipline when doing ABAP development

Good debugging skills are very important

Ability to :

Communicate effectively during execution of duties

Being able to estimate development effort as well as report on the status of it

Do performance tuning

Work with functional teams in identifying test cases and test data needed

Document technical design of new development and / or production support break fixes

Meet initiative schedules and deadlines

Experience :

Three to five years of recent full-time paid experience in SAP ABAP programming including working on production support and new development projects.
