Role Overview :
As a Senior Data Analyst at Dynata, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and analytical depth of data used across global research and insights projects.
You will manage complex datasets, streamline data workflows, design analytical frameworks, and produce actionable insights that drive business decisions.
This role requires a strong technical background in data analytics, statistical tools, and data visualization, along with a deep understanding of market research methodologies and survey data structures.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Preparation & Validation :
- Clean, transform, and validate raw data to ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness across projects.
- Ensure all question bases, cell assignments, and quota targets are accurately represented in datasets.
- Conduct rigorous QC checks for consistency and integrity of datasets before delivery.
Data Analysis & Reporting :
Perform advanced statistical analyses using SPSS, Quantum, and other analytical tools.Develop and automate tabulation frameworks for projects of medium to high complexity.Generate data summaries, cross-tab reports, and insights-driven visual dashboards to support client deliverables.Interpret analytical results and present findings to internal stakeholders and project leads.Survey Design & Consultation :
Collaborate with survey programmers and project managers to optimize questionnaire structure and data capture efficiency.Provide input on survey logic, coding schemes, and variable mapping for optimal data output.Process Optimization & Technical Enablement :
Implement automation in data processing and tabulation workflows to improve turnaround time.Utilize tools such as Decipher, ConfirmIT, or equivalent platforms for data collection and integration.Support development of data pipelines and reusable analytical templates.Quality Assurance & Delivery :
Ensure on-time delivery of all assigned data deliverables while maintaining high accuracy and consistency standards.Identify and escalate data anomalies or system issues to management with proposed resolutions.Required Skills & Attributes :
Proficiency in SPSS, Quantum, and Excel for data analysis, reporting, and statistical computation.Experience using Decipher, ConfirmIT, or other survey and data collection platforms.Strong understanding of survey data processing systems and market research data flows.Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred).Working knowledge of SQL or Python for data manipulation is a strong advantage.Excellent problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and documentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Education & Experience :
Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, survey data processing, or data management within a market research or data-driven environment.Prior experience in data tabulation, QC, and reporting automation preferred.Why Join Dynata :
