Job Description
- Familiarity with mechanical and fire codes – ASHRAE, AHRI, ISO, AMCA, UL, NFPA, GMP
- Software exposure - BIM360 / HAP / REVIT
- Should be well versed with HVAC system install activities (Heat / cooling load calculations, ventilation calculations, airside / water side pressure drop calculation, room book, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, space allocation etc.)
- Procurement / Construction Support Activities - install Scope Statement of Work and Services, RFQ / RFP / Bid Evaluation, Suppliers Submittal Review and Approval
- Clean room projects experience must prefer to have
- Construction experience with HVAC systems for control of space temperature, humidity, particulate, and airborne contaminants
- Construction experience with utility systems including chilled water, cooling water, heating water, steam, and compressed air
Basic Job Requirements :
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and 5-15 years of work-related experience.Mechanical or Architectural Engineering degree with relevant design experience in HVAC, utilities, and plumbing systems Professional registration in mechanical or other relevant engineering fieldAdvanced knowledge of applicable local, state / province, and federal / national codes and standardsAbility to supervise and lead a diverse design team to work effectively with both internal and external organizations.
Life sciences & pharma industry experienceSemiconductor & microelectronics industry experienceAbility to utilize AutoCAD to produce 2D diagrammatic drawings and sketches.Ability to utilize Revit to produce 3D HVAC models.
